Part-Time Seasonal Worker

Possible extension into 2023

Farmhand responsibilities include overseeing animal interactions, guests, and grounds, basic animal husbandry, front desk/cashier, and special event setup. Farmhands are expected to work in direct contact with guest and communicate policies and procedures in a professionally, friendly manner. 

Part-Time Job Specifics: 

Hours:
Up to 32 Hours/Week, Typically 15-20 based on availability. 

Shifts: 
Monday-Wednesday – As Needed
Thursday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 6 PM

Start Date: October 
Close Date: When Filled

Pay: $10/Hour + Raise after 60 days

Part-Time Job Requirements: 

Must be 16+ Years of Age

Fluent in written and spoken English

Knowledge of animal husbandry & experience caring for animals.

Lift 50lbs

Stand for duration of shift

Experience with Children/Events Preferred

Full-Time Animal Caretaker

Full time animal caretaker responsibilities include overseeing operations of the farm including: part time workers, animal interactions, guests, grounds, and animals. Animal Caretakers are expected to work in direct contact with guest and communicate policies and procedures in a professionally, friendly manner. Full-Time animal caretakers will oversee feeding, watering, and daily health checks on all animals along with rescues. 

Part-Time Job Specifics: 

Hours: 36 Hours/Week. 

Shifts: 
Tuesday – Wednesday: 3-5 Hours 
Thursday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 6 PM

Start Date: October 
Close Date: When Filled

Pay: $12/Hour + Paid sick/holiday.

Full-Time Job Requirements: 

Must be 21+ Years of Age

Fluent in written and spoken English

Degree or 2+ years experience in Animal Caretaking, Animal Husbandry, Vetrinary, or comparable field. 

Lift 50lbs

Stand for duration of shift

Experience with Children/Events Preferred
