Our History
Ballyhoo Petting Zoo started this year in March, but has been a family project for many years. The concept of our daily zoo started three years ago after planning some family birthday parties. We grew up with many different animals and decided to turn our passion into a business.
We purchased the property just before Covid last year. The construction of the farm took over a year. We are a USDA facility, and our farm is built around their animal care guidelines.
We opened March 20, 2021 and have grown to 100+ animals currently residing at the farm, including more than 25 rescues. Our family is always growing and we have big plans to give our animals the best quality of life.
